I recently moved out of Park Meadows after honoring my 12 month lease. I should have left sooner...better yet, i shouldn't have signed a lease in the first place. This was my first apartment so I think I was eager to have my own place but I should have taken more time to look at places before signing. On my tour, the staff was very nice and showed me the clubhouse and model apartments, which of course were beautiful. The apartment i received was a complete opposite from what I had been shown. The kitchen was filty as if it had never been cleaned. My deck was dry-rot that had been painted over instead of replaced. The floor in my living room was uneven from previous water damage but I was told that it was "ok and safe". My AC wasn't working properly this summer...maintenance came out 6 times to look at it and kept telling me it was fine, yet it never got below 84 degrees inside and my AC ran nonstop. These apartments are now under new management but its no better than the previous. They couldn't find my papers stating I would be moving out when my lease is up so they wouldnt honor it and are making me pay for the month of November even though my lease was up as of Oct 31 and I have moved out of the property. If you are thinking about leasing at this property, PLEASE look somewhere else and save yourself the money and headache.
