I've been living in Park Meadows for about a year and a half. My first apartment was dirty when we moved in, but still what I would consider adequate. Our first winter, the heat didn't work, and it took maintenance weeks to finally come out to even look at it. The only reason that they did was because I sat in the leasing office and said that I wasn't leaving until someone looked at my furnace. In this same apartment, we noticed that the ceiling in the bathroom was starting to sag. The complex told us that it was because of issues in the apartment above us. So, instead of fixing the ceiling, they just cut out a giant hole and covered it with plastic. That hole stayed like that until we moved out, 3 months later. Compared to the apartment that I'm in now, that place was a gem. We've been in this one for almost a year and the mold is so bad that I can't breathe if I spend significant amounts of time in the apartment. Our basement leaks every time that it rains, no matter how heavy of a rain that we get. Maintenance has yet to do anything. The kicker was three weeks ago when two cops came to my door claiming that they were going door to door looking for the "strong smell of ammonia coming from the building", and if I knew of any illegal drug activity. That was enough for me to say goodbye to this community. The parking is terrible and the grounds that aren't visible to the main streets aren't taken care of. Personally, I can't wait to get out of this place. Stay away from this place!
