Never Rent from Complex or the other company owned properties

Years at this apartment: 2009 - 2009
I lived in the complex for 14mo in 2008-2009 and i regret ever living there. the staff the first 2 mo was very nice, but they were only there for 2mo, later they brought in a woman that didn't care about any maintenance needs. My basement in my three level townhouse flooded 4 times in the spring, ruined the entire carpet and molded the walls, and every-time i would bleach the walls the mold would still come back the next day and the room smelled like mold. The maintenance staff stated that the foundation of the building was cracked and they were getting estimates on getting it fixed, a month later i called the office to see if they need to get in to do the repairs, they told me that they didn't have the money to get it repaired as a foundation is expensive, and they would find other ways to fix it, and what they did was spread mulch down out side so it would soak up all the water, so it would not get inside, at 3am i called the emergency maintenance number saying my basement had 4in of water in it, i left a message, and two days later at 9pm i get a call from the maintenance manager, yelling at me and saying " don't ever call this ------- number again, i don't care if you have 3feet of water in you basement" and hung up. I went into the office to complain about teh phone call i received and they said they would look into it, i go in a week or so later and they said he states he never would do such a thing and i should not say he did such things. My renters insurance was cancelled by allstate saying that it was a known issue and they refuse to fix the issue and they were not going to continue my policy until they fixed the foundation, i told the staff this and they said to switch companies, and i have to keep renters insurance on the unit. One other thing that happened was the parking space. when i moved in i was guaranteed a spot about 20 feet from my door and the spot was to have my unit number on it and if any one parked in my spot i can have them towed. I move in and the building next to me, one unit alone had four cars, in a 20 spot parking lot, so my spot was always full, for a few months i would go the people who parked there and ask them to please move the car, they would always argue that there were other spots to use, and i would always tell them that my spot has my number on it and their spot has their number on it, and i would have them towed if they did not move it. After a few weeks of that they refused to answer the door and i called and had them towed, and four hours later i had the office staff call me telling me that one of my neighbors was freaking out that their car was stolen, i stated that it may have been towed if they parked in a spot that was not theirs, and she went on to demanding that I tell her the company i used, the one they told me to call as i replied. about 6 mo into the lease i get the number erased off my spot, and the office would not give me a guaranteed spot. I did not renew my lease.
