I'm going to admit right off the top that I have not lived here. I did however apply along with my bf of 4 yrs and was turned down because of his credit.

Anyway, I've read all of the reviews thus far and since I have visited the place, I want to advise people who consider living there that you have to choose carefully what you want to believe.

I can't tell you how friendly the management/office staff is after you've moved in. They seemed friendly when we were applying, but when they called with the rejection, the person sounded a bit snobbish. As for being shown a "model unit", when filling out the paperwork, we had been offered the apartment we actually had viewed, but decided against that one because we wanted a lower level apartment and one without a lake-view. As for washer/dryer hookup, there are connections in some of the larger units (3 bdrm and townhouses)...we wouldn't have even considered the place had there not been, the only problem I saw with that was that there was only enough room for the stackable type washer/dryer. The grounds seemed well kept, despite the fact there had been snow just a few days prior to our visit. I do think the deposit seemed high, but we applied during a special they were having and the deposit would have only been half price.

Anyway, that's just my two cents. It's always best to go check out a place before applying or signing a lease. For those complaining about the grounds and the units not having washer/dryer hookups, you should have noticed that when you visited before applying.

Best of luck to everyone hunting for an apartment...it's not an easy task...
