Theese are the worst apartments to live in!! Not only do you hear everything that goes on in the neighboring apartments; ie bowl movements, conversations & love making, the maintenance sucks!! You can call all you want if you have an issue, but they'll never come. The grounds are horrible. Other than having some one cut the grass they do nothing. The office staff is plain rude! They don't care about you once you move in. I definately would not move here if you want to be safe. There are drug busts that happen almost weekly now. It's nice to come home & find out S.W.A.T was out at the property. Not to mention my neighbor's apartment was broken into almost 3 months ago & they still haven't replaced their door!! Yeah I really feel safe. Don't let them fool you by showing you a display, the apartment you'll get will have fixtures & cabinets circa 1970's. I don't think they ever replace the carpet. We've had it cleaned & stains still show up. The best part is, is the stains show up in parts of the apartment that we never walk on. How does that work' Oh, cause they save money by not replacing the carpets when old tenants move out! Our stove works whenever it wants & they won't replace or even fix it. Our thermostat is broken & hanging off the wall & they won't fix it. It is absolutely the worst place to live. I didn't even touch on the mold issues that 2 of neighbors are having, that they wouldn't take care of, until my neighbors called the health department on them! It's just ridiculous! They don't care. I will say that this place was fine, maitenance was good, office staff was good, the grounds looked good, until Village Green took over. Then it just went down hill. I would think twice before moving in here or better yet just drive thru the property at night, around 9 or 10 & see for yourself. Even find out what buiding they're going to move you into & go walk thru it one day. You'll be able to see how bad the parking is & be able to hear your neighbors in the breezeway! I will have lived here for 4 years come time to renew my lease, but I'm leaving!! They couldn't pay enough to stay in this hell hold!! I would never recommend this place to anyone!!

I totally understand how you feel. It is a horrible place to stay. They lock you into a lease and do absolutely nothing. I can't wait until my lease is up.

I understand your frustration but I disagree with a lot of this. I first came here over 4 yrs ago, moved into the beautiful display I was shown, new cabinetry, carpet, appliances, bathrooms, paint, etc but the gutters are awful so mold set in & I was forced to move. John & the Maintenance guys currently here do all they can to keep this place functioning BUT, YES THE PLACE & THE APPLIANCES< Air conditioners are OLD. Lajuanda was a helpful Manager, did what she could. I do believe the rent is totally TOO HIGH for the way this place looks but, that is based on tax.Residents do not know how to be neighbors, how to empty trash, how to open the dumpster, how to place large items in the dumpsters just for large items, how to park so others can park, many have way too many vehicles so no one can park near where they live, do not clean up after their pets, kids, or selves, use the parking lot & stairs as personal trash cans, are so irresponsible they can not notify the office or neighbors when they run over the tub, toilet or dishwasher. I have never seen SWAT here, I have not seen any apartments broken into or any broken down doors. This IS a nice area to live in but the people living here must take some responsibility. They could become more rigid with whom they rent to, that would allow decent folks to have to look else where because they would not be allowed here. I can not afford to live here but I can not afford to move as the other nicer places have the drug dealers there that can afford them & they come to places like this where there are weak folks who will do anything & do not respect themselves, not to mention a neighbor!

Well Anonymous, aren't you lucky that you don't live in the same building as me. Cause you would have seen SWAT there 2 weeks ago to bust a meth lab & if you tack on another 3 months to that you would have seen the cops there around 5pm on a thursday, to greet everyone in my building to see if they were home in the morning & maybe saw who broke into 2 of the apartments on the same floor as me. Turns out the drug dealers are living here. As for Lajuanda, she is the worst manager the complex has ever had! She is rude & not very helpfull at all! I think this COULD be a nice place to live, if they would just take care of their current residents, instead of only focusing on the new residents!
