I lived in a two-bedroom apartment at Whisper Hollow for almost three years. I probably would have lived there forever had my roommate and best friend not decided to get married and move into a huge, luxurious house. But the time I spent there was highly enjoyable - I'd rented from a couple other complexes and never had experienced a friendly personal bond with the apartment staff, particularly head honcho Dena Watts.

Not only did everyone willingly take the time and effort to learn my name and basic details about my life and work, they also jumped every time my roommate or I had a problem. Our floor drain backed up one morning, and in less than an hour, Dena had an emergency water removal service in our apartment cleaning up. By contrast, the unit I'm living in now had a sewer backup, and the people in charge essentially told me, "Yeah, it does that when it rains a lot. You're on your own. We don't care." That would never happen at Whisper Hollow. Also, there's a dedicated maintenance staff of gentlemen who keep the place looking great at all times.

Whisper Hollow organizes social events as well. Residents can always look forward to the annual summer pool parties and winter holiday parties, and the staff also organizes happy hours and bus trips out to wineries. This is something they voluntarily do, that is not a required part of their job, and they make sure everyone has a great time. Also, any average afternoon or evening spent hanging out around the pool or in the workout room can lead to lasting friendships with other residents. Did I mention they have a dry sauna and public Internet access' And they have free coffee, hot tea, fresh-baked cookies and a DVD checkout service' Because, yeah, they have that too.

I never had an issue with the facility or the staff, and Whisper Hollow is very conveniently located to every major part of the St. Louis area. I couldn't recommend this place more highly.
