Apartments are very old, not a bad place to rent though

Honestly, the apartments are really old. The floor creaks every time somebody walks, no matter how carefully you try not to. It's a good thing i was staying on the third floor, however, i pity the people who stay on the first and second.
Hallways are cleaned once in a while, so they are not all that bad. Maybe a bit more light would help. There is a very gloomy feel to it.
Management is helpful, really did not come across anyone who is rude, not even the manager as claimed in the other reviews.
Have got things fixed on time, so no issues with maintenance too.
Yes, there is a problem with the showers, though. You spend more time doing temp. control than taking a shower. I had asked them to fix the problem. Apperantly, it is not a problem they can fix. The fluctuation in water temperature is brought about by someone else using the same line of water at the same time. I think this is a manifestation of old plumbing. Never had a problem like this when i was previously renting.
I have stayed in these apartments for almost a year now. Will be completeing a year coming May. I will be shifting out of these apartments as my family will be joining me here. I have stayed with room mates all this time. I think this is a good place for bachelors, or people on low budgets. Would definately not recommend to people with families.
There are a lot of restaurants and goceries store nearby, which is also a plus. Also, Creve Couer park is just about a couple of minutes drive away. The apartments are close to the YMCA (i found this especially useful) and also to other gyms (bally's and Gold's) nearby.
All in all, its a good place for the price.
