Great Value - Old South is a great property, especially for the budget conscious Springfieldian. It lies technically in Ozark, but not far from city limits of Springfield (where I worked). New persective It upsets me to hear people complain abut the James River College Students! They never caused a problem, were never noisiey, and never rude! Debbie alaways answered my questions and was pretty good at taking care of things. Just needed to be reminded. Some times I miss living

Don't walk run from here This is the most uncompetent management staff I have ever seen. Debbie the manager stands outside smoking all day and can't talk to people without picking up the phone. She is rude and doesn't follow through with what she says. Parking is horrible and trash

Do not move here if you enjoy peace and quiet They have a contract with a local university to house students. So in a 2 bedroom unit, they have 4 occupants in a 2 bedroom unit, and these kids are your typical college students. Very noisy, rude and inconsiderate.

Nice apartments but horrible neighbors/parking I lived in one of these apartments for about a year, and let me tell you these were some of the RUDEST people you could possibly meet. Neighbors making up ridiculous false complaints, or peeping into the balcony, while the landlord favoured
