Would live here again

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2009
Bottom Line Up Front: Professional, friendly, responsive, and courteous staff. Quiet and well maintained grounds. No KC, MO E-TAX, roughly ten miles to the front gate of Fort Leavenworth, about five miles to economy parking at the airport, ten miles from Barry Rd. I think Platte City is the best place to live if you work at Fort Leavenworth and Williamsburg Plaza Apartments is one of if not the best complex in town.
I moved to KC in July of 97 for a job at Fort Leavenworth. Initially lived near Barry Road and I29 in two different apartment complexes. The first one was old but the staff was okay. Moved into a newer apartment, smaller but still okay although the staff was a bit rude and tried to use scare tactics when moving out.
Got tired of paying the Kansas City, MO E Tax when I did not own property so decided to move out of KC, MO. Was looking at Platte City, MO and near the Shawnee Mission Parkway area by K7. Decided to move into the Williamsburg Plaza Apartments in Platte City. Little or no traffic to work, still within ten minutes from Barry Road.
The staff has always been professional and courteous. Can't believe others complain about parking at the complex, there are enough parking spots for all. If you travel a lot for work less then a ten minute drive to the airport. The one bedroom is bigger than most one bedrooms I visited. The open kitchen - dinning - living room floor plan is a big plus to me makes the room feel larger. The third floor has a faulted ceiling in the living room, a great plus. Last apartment had a mini stack washer and dryer but Williamsburg Plaza has the room and hookups for large size ones, does not seem like a bid deal but if you had to use a mini stack for a period of time you understand.
One thing I almost forgot to mention. When moving into Williamsburg Plaza was having issues with the previous apartment complex. Debbie Kirkpatrick the manger was nice enough to entertain my concerns and gave me the lawyer's number she uses for such rental/property legal matters. After two free phone conversations the lawyer advised me and my worries were over.
Would move into Williamsburg Plaza again if back in KC and working in the northland area.
