I live here at Pinewood Park and can tell you that I have had nothing but a pleasnat experience living here and would recommend it to any one.The property manager bends over backwards to please his tennants and look out for them. If there is a problem it is resolved in a very timely manner. I had to respond after reading the response prior to mine, there have been people move in here and take advantage of Darin's good graces. I can honestly tell you that if that couple didnt get there deposit back it was because they did trash the apartment. Sometimes taking off your shoes isnt enough sometimes you need to wash your feet!

Apparently "the manager" (AKA Darrin)or his buddies are posting reviews. Anyway, I stand by my previous statement. I was completely honest and intend my remarks for future apartment hunters looking for housing in the Republic, MO area. There is much better housing to be found than Pinewood Park Apartments

As suggested by the local manager, I called the police department and they stated that they had many disturbances at the Palms. Plus, there is a registered sex offender with an address of the Palms. (That was "horrible" advice for single parent with a family even if they give you a month of free rent)

i was shown an apartment at both pinewood park and republic palms, the one at pinewood park was roomy and clean, the one at republic palms had stained carpets and not so clean bathrooms. if you move into a nasty apartment do they charge you for the mess? i hope not or id feel sorry for people at the palms.

I am moving to Pinewood Park on 8/1/09. The landlady (notice it's a woman, so there must have been a turn over since some of the last posts) was very nice. My dad and I looked around and thought the apartments were nice. Someone had just moved out of the one I was going to rent, so there were a few "minor" problems that would be fixed before I moved in. The 2 BR apartments seem very nice to me. The free cable and trash were a nice added bonus as well. The landlady seemed very nice and said it was a nice community. It was very quiet about lunch time when she showed us the place. She said it stays that quiet! I'm looking forward to my move!
