Well, we lived on the top floor, which costs more for vaulted ceilings. Had some water heater/sewer pipe issues which were fixed. Staff is ok, but can be rude. The pools were nice, but don't thnk you can bring the kids there in the summer! The master bedroom was right by the wooden stairs so you can hear everyone walking up them.Oh and we had 2 run 2 space heaters in the master bed in winter b/c the bay window was so horribly sealed! Overpriced for the tow---pay for what most apartments include- like sewage and water. We left b/c they raised rent again and with a growing city like Spfd, you can find tons of newer all inclusive apts. for cheaper.

I will be moving to Springfield soon and have been looking at places via the internet; this is one that is on my list. Just curious, you say there are better, cheaper apartments. Would you mind sharing so I can interview those as well? Thanks.

Lakewood Trails Apartments are great! We've been here 3 years, since they were built. These like Kellly Greens are on the South side of Spfd. They are actually within 4 miles of Kelly Greens, they are next to the woods with a walking trail, exercise facility, nice and new, never overcrowded, free cable, internet, tanning beds, and decent prices. we pay 615 a mo. 2 bed 2 bath, 3rd floor vaulted ceilings, balcony overlooking the woods and trail. i love it!

Just wondering, you said you lived at Lakewood Trails Apts for 3 yrs? So, you have been there according to your post, 2003? Lakewood was brand new about the time you moved in if I am correct. Of course a brand new place is going to be nicer. Every where you live in this town there are going to be noisy college kids that party all night long and crowd the pools. If you want a quiet place, you need to move outside of Springfield.

Management is the worst, period! Take a complaint to them and all they can say is, well you are living in an apartment. Floors in apartments are worn out. People above you have parties and they sound like they are coming through the ceiling. Complained to office several times about upstairs noise ( not college Kids )they tell me to call security. I have called security and all they do is ask to please keep noise down. Ok, great, last for about 5 minutes after security leaves. I have complained "FIVE" times now. Still nothing, the office would rather I move then evict the wrongful party. I have asked other neighbors to come over and listen to the noise to witness. Still the office does nothing. I have even recorded the noise. Now they are finally starting to do some repairs to the outside of the buildings. So what!!! You can make it nice and get people to move in, but once they hear the noise coming from floors above and all the noise coming from the wooden stairs, they won't renew the lease. Management just wants to fill the apartments and say to heck with you afterwards. Oh and they also suggested I move to the third floor with no one above me. Ok, I will pay you another security deposit, pay to move my phone, electric, cable, internet and notify all my contacts and magazines. We are not college kids, my wife and I are adult professionals.
