We lived at Oakwood Terrace for a one year lease and you couldn't pay me to live there again. The staff is rediculous, ESPECIALLY the landlord. What a LIAR! All she sees is dollar signs when she looks at tennants. Things that were reported broken shortly after we MOVED IN were STILL BROKEN when we moved out a year later!!! We followed all the rules and still had to deal with complaints that were completely rediculous while tennants across the courtyard threw parties any night of the week and even set fire to a dumpster during one of them! But of course they were never reprimanded for it but we made noise DURING THE DAY and were told to quiet down or else! There were water problems (flooded basement, leaking toilet, leaking sink, etc.) the entire time we lived there and it always took days to get anyone to look at them let alone fix them! We decided it was just easier to rent a house where we're expected to fix minor stuff ourselves and it's WAY CHEAPER! My advice is don't get suckered in to what seems like a good deal as it will end up costing you a LOT MORE in the long run. Plus they give terrible references, lie, and even when you clean and go on the walk thru where she tells you you're going to get your entire deposit back, they turn around and say you owe them! Save yourself the pain and rent a house seriously. Learn from our mistakes.
