Great...if you don't have a car!

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006
I've lived at these apartments for almost two and a half years now. I've seen them steadily get worse.
First of all, they have a habit of finding ways to send me bills for things that I had no idea I was supposed to pay. I signed a lease for one amount and started receiving bills a few months later for an EXTRA 15 dollars. Apparently, they are charging me for another pet, that doesn't appear on my lease. Well, I only have one pet. Why am I being charged double for this' It still hasn't been changed after two months of fighting it.
I am contstantly hearing my neighbors. For some reason, the apartment next to me is always leased to young couples. The first couple that lived next to me had a baby that I could hear crying late into the night. The second couple, well, let's just say their "relations" were a little too loud. And now we're on the third couple. They like to argue and party-a lot. I've tried to get them evicted, no luck. They don't seem to care that two noise violations and you're out.
Don't be fooled by the wifi. It's 145 kbps, and drops out frequently. If you need internet, get the cable internet. Pricey, I know, but worth it.
If you have a car, sell it before you move her and take the bus. There are never enough parking spaces available. The company issues parking permits, but doesn't enforce the towing policy. If you come home on a night someone is having a party, no parking is available. I have also seen two of myu neighbors cars vandalized in the past year. Security patrol doesn't care. Also, the parking lot is a virtual "dumping ground" for cars that don't run anymore. It's an eyesore to come home to.
The only reason I didn't move this year is because I couldn't afford the moving expenses. I'm getting married next year and plan on moving in with my fiance' someplace else.
Bottom line: if you enjoy partying and don't have a car-this is the place for you. If you need a quiet, automobile friendly apartment-look elsewhere. It's not worth the frustration.
