I lived in an apartment owned by University Properties and it was an awful experience. We had bug infestation, mice infestation and electrical problems and they seemed to think none of this was something to be concerned about. We also got next to nothing back in our deposit of $300 even though we had written down all that was wrong with the apartment when we got there they still managed to weasel us out of our money and it wasn't worth the court fees to sue them over the $300. They were very rude to us whenever we would try to report neighbor problems about parking and any maintenance issues and made it impossible for us to work with them on anything.
