I got this apartment because it was easily available and fairly cheap. The area is alright, but the complex itself has some questionable characters in it. Walls are not so thick, neighbors can be heard if they are loud at all. There is no dishwasher, which turned out to be much more of a problem than I anticipated. The onsite laundry is VERY expensive, poorly lit, poorly located, and the dryer, in spite of taking $1.50, needs a least two cycles to dry one load of wash. The carpeting was very old, and leaks developed in some of the plumbing which were not corrected until months after complaining. Overall, there are definately better places in the area, and they will be well worth the $20 extra.
