Wow! When I first moved in, I was extremely satisified.
I did not have any bug issues and parking for the building I was located in was decent. Fast forward to two and half years later...My car was stolen, and the riff raff. I believe Gannon Management started to allow section 8 rentals.

Nothing wrong with section 8 for those who use the system to move forward in life with the hopes of getting off. Typically these are the people you want live around you, because for the most part they will care about their surroundings.
However, my encounters were not with people like this...

1. Had to call the cops a couple times because it sound like the girl in apartment caddy corner to me was getting beat down...the cops asked if I wanted to be contacted after they came, Hell naw...

2. Individiuals outside sleeping on the corner of the steps with a bottle of alcohol next to them at 7:30am.

3. Little mama pulling her kithen table outside and having 20-30 folks drinking, cursing, smoking, playing dominos and its 11pm on a Sunday, no holiday. People who did not even live there were blocking the steps and act as if you were bothering them by saying excuse me so that you can walk up the steps to your apartment.

4. How about friends that were from the hood, advising you to go becuase it was getting too hood at Ridgepoint.

5. People standing in the middle of the road and do not want to move out the way so that you can park your car. You dont want to check them becuase of fear of property damage or something even worse. Yes, I had had to check a child once or twice to advise them not to touch/draw on my car.

6. The last four months, I was there I knew it was getting bad because the police and detectives were constantly in the complex, which by that time I made it up in my mind that is was time to go.

You have to take into consideration that the apartment complex is not that far from a crackhead/dopefiend heavan at the corner of Lindbergh and Fee Fee Road.

Let just say, based the reviews from tenants who lived there after me, I know I made the right choice, and my assumation of where the place was going was correct.
