...especially if you choose a first-floor apartment. I made this mistake. The walls are paper-thin, and I can hear *every* movement from the upstairs apartment, *including* the toilet seat cover being put down.

It doesn't help that the apartment complex has a large number of spoiled brats who stay up all night being noisy and sleep during the day. And good luck with a maintenance request--they'll take their time. But if you're a few days late on the rent, you can be sure you'll get a call right away.

And if you request a different apartment, you have to go through the application process AGAIN.

These are poorly-constructed apartments. Bugs are a problem, especially during the summer, and especially if you live on the first floor. Noise is the biggest issue, though.

Oh, and satellite dishes are banned, so you're stuck with bankrupt Charter or AT&T U-verse. Apparently, this is because the owner thinks dishesit makes the complex look "trashy."

Choose another apartment complex if you can. I know I will when my lease is up. The poor construction of the buildings, the noise level, management's lack of concern with its tenants, and bugs make this a poor choice for a home.
