Management here is very rude and quite inept. I was a good tenant for a year (never late/not noisy) and when I wanted to move into a larger apt. in the same complex it was a nightmare.
They wanted to put me in an apt. that the resident was being evicted from. I called a week before the date *they* gave me as my move in date and said I could see all kinds of damage just walking by. They promised me it would be ready and acted like I was being a pain and snooping.
Two days before the move in they call and say it isn't going to be ready because of the condition. Now, I'm stuck in limbo. Instead of getting an apt. that was a move out on good terms ready for me they want to keep me on hold for this evicted one.
When I called the home office (Laramar) to complain the manager here called me up the next day and went off on me about doing that. I said her staff is rude and she says, well, no one ever complains about that but go ahead.
It should have been a sign when a week before I moved in the complex was on the news for a meth lab blowing up in an apt. over the leasing office.
Aside from the drug activity and the frequent gas leaks from the antique furnaces, the insufferable "security" gate, the chaotic parking, the constant screw ups with my rent (I had auto-debit), and randomly charging me for pets that I don't have then giving me attitude when I try to get it fixed, it was a pretty miserable experience.
They need new staff and new furnaces and this place could move up to hell hole!
