In a perfect world, a just and loving God would rain down holy sulfur upon the perfect misery that is the Leasing Office at Sandalwood Creek. But no, He missed and hit the apartment directly over it (as another poster here mentioned).

In my year here, I've had two gas leaks due to my antique furnace. Bodily dangers aside, let's talk about the staff here. They are rude, incompetent, rude, lazy, and rude. One time they left me a letter on my door accusing me of "sqelling" (yes, that's what the letter said) my tires in the parking lot. Little did they know that the 'sqeller' was one of the "customers" of my drug-dealing neighbors.

Then there was the time that they lost my package. I bought a textbook from Amazon.com and they sent it to me. I wasn't home, so they left it at the Leasing Office on a Friday but didn't leave a sticker on my door to tell me it was there, so I assumed it never arrived. A week and a half later, I track my package online, and lo and behold, it's sitting in the Leasing Office. When I go in, they can't find my package. I didn't bring a printout of the tracking info with me, so I asked if they had internet access on their PCs there and if I could use one quickly to show her the tracking info. Sandy told me, "normally I would, but I'm in the middle of a report right now." As I walked back to my apartment in the 96-degree heat, I caught a glimpse through the window of her screen. Their reports look awfully similar to a game of Solitaire. I printed out the tracking info and returned. Upon showing it to Sandy, she notices the signing name on it and says, "Oh, that's Dan. I'll ask him about it when he comes in next in two days." I had a test that week without the textbook, so I told her very calmly, "No, that's not good enough. I have a test this week, I need to know where my book is right now." She goes on to say, "Well we sign for our renter's packages as a courtesy. Normally we send packages back 7 days later if nobody picks them up. I'm sorry, but that's the policy, being rude won't change it." In other words, she told me that were doing me a favor by signing for my package then losing it, and when I asked if they performed this "courtesy", I get accused of being rude. Later, just to be safe I called UPS to see if they returned it (they didn't) and the shipper to see if they received it back (they also didn't). Better yet, I remembered another package that I picked up from the Leasing Office during the week in question, and while I was there I asked if my other package arrived yet. They looked, but they couldn't find it then. I briefly considered showing Sandy this info, but I decided against it since I don't speak Ass_hole. I'm speaking to their parent company instead.

Stay away before the black hole in office that is Sandy's heart expands and consumes the whole complex.
