Its funny to read these reviews. Some complain about not being able to park in front of your door. As if any apartment community has enough spaces to allow every one to park in front of their door.

And you people who complain about the size of the apartment' You might as well call yourself stupid. You looked at the apartment before you rented didn't you. So you knew the size. Right'

As far as loud noise or a disterbance of any kind, why should the management get involved when it is a police matter. First off, the problem usually happens during non-business hours. If you want it stopped the call the police. Second, calling management the next day and complaining does nothing since it is no longer going on. How can they do anything to stop it if it is not going on at that time. They can call the person who was making the disturbance and the person will probably deny it. If the police are called then they can usually catch them in the act and I am willing to bet that being told by the police to stop will go a hell of a lot farther then the management warning them.

I can only speak for myself when reviewing the condition of the apartment. My apartment was nice. I rented a one bedroom and upgraded to a two bedroom in the middle of my second year lease and they were very accommodating in my transition. I only had a few calls for maintenance and they were handled in a day.

I always thought the grounds were very nice. The center of the property is like a nice park setting. I enjoyed many a days around the pool.

This was the forth community I have lived in in 10 years and it is no different then any other. I see no more traffic then usual or no more activity then any of the others. I don't know where the people who complained about the activity and traffic lived before but when you put 400 plus homes in one area, your going to have some activity and traffic at all hours. Sunbrook is not a retirement community for heaven sake. We all don't work the 9-5 some work the 5-9.

I just have to wonder how many of the complainers were evicted or behind on there rent and in a bit of trouble with the management' Perhaps some complainers are those people who the management called on about a disturbance. At any rate, they didn't leave there name to there review. Something that I will do!

That is not fair to make assumptions like this. My family rented this apartment because we were transferring from another city and needed a temporary apartment with furniture until our current home was being built. We understood the size was small, but dirty carpets, stink smells, and moldy cabinets are unacceptable. When they showed us the furnished apartment, it was decent, but unfortunately, it was not the apartment we rented. I have owned my own home for 10 years and this was the first apartment I've rented since being a home owner. You said you have rented for 10 years. If one is used to living in a spotless, very well maintained home, and has to live in filth, that person's perspective is going to be different from yours. Having stated this, each person is entitled to his or her opinion. I might add, that if my husband, who signed the lease because the rest of us were still in the other city while our former house was on the market, was not the one to signed and it had been me, I would have asked them to show me the apartment first, and I never would have given them one dime. This place is filthy and nasty, and I would never let my dog live here. It needs renovation in the worst way.
