The people who manage this property are simply horrible and disgusting human beings. But they are easily located.... just look for the blue mini van down at the trailor park on Lake Contrary. Although the couple is married... you wouldnt know because they both look like men. Very tacky people and rude. Constantly changing the rent and what utilities we were to pay. The tenants were not allowed to have guests in the pool. HOWEVER, the managers (NOT OWNERS, managers) would have huge pool parties and they didnt live there. As stated once, they live in a pull behind trailor. Seriously...

The inside of the apartment...
For the carpet it was okay except that my daughters closet had NONE in it. This was not intended either. They were suppose to recarpet the floor and ask that we keep it clear. SOOOO in a 2 bdrm apt we kept her room CLEAR waiting and in 12 months NOBODY fixed the issue. I should mention that there were tack boards all along the floor from the previous carpet that was there. So constantly somebody was getting a tack in their foot. The "decor" is very hard to describe its not as if its dated but more so like an institution. The flooring is the type of tile that we all had in grade school. The trim is like this flappy rubber stuff!! ALL the trim, doors, and cabinets are crap brown. You may wonder WHY i moved in if it was so terrible. WELL, thats because THEY SHOWED ME A "MODEL" apartment when i came to visit. The model apt had new drywall, trim, counters and cabinets;)SILLY ME! THEY kept reassuring me it was the one i would be getting was the EXACT floor plan as the model. WELL, silly me of course it was the same floor plan just with complete makeover. I wasnt able to see the actual apartment because the man was in the military and wasn't coming back until the day he had to move. Therefor, i had seen the "model" and wanted to hold this upcoming apt that was coming open since there were not any other vacant ones at the time. Like a dummy I trusted the model apt and went ahead to sign a lease and pay first months rent and a deposit ( insert SIGH here) This place is full of trashy people and the people that do live here bring their entire family with them. So they just multiply. The ground is kept up pretty well considering that the manager is snorting meth up his nose he is always eager to wander around the court yard... Last but not least, i gave my 30 days notice and was to be out by the 30th of the month. WELL, they found a new tenant who wanted the apt but would ONLY take it on the 15th or she would have to look elsewhere. Management informed me i HAD to be out by the 15th!!! OR i would lose my deposit and they would try to evict me. I declined and consulted an attorney. My rent was paid til the 30th and i was fulfilling my lease. They were in the wrong here. When i informed mgt that i would not be leaving early she lost her mind. The next day when i left to get my child from school i came home to find my locks had been changed. (yes, rent paid fully and faithfully throughout the entire 12 months) i then called the police they arrived and told her to unlock the door and she refused. (EVERYTHING i owned was in there) The police said if she refuses and its legally my residence that i could use forced entry, OTHERWISE it becomes civil. Lord knows i wasnt going to wait to go to civil court to get ALL of my things. So i JUMPED on the fact that i was able to use forced entry and with the manager and police there pried a window out and climbed in that way. THEN the dumb #$%& gave me key after she watched me crawl through the window. It was a living hell everytime i left for my last month there thinking they were going to try and pull something else with me. AGAIN, my rent was paid and my lease ended the 30th she tried to cut me short 15 days. i am not just one of those people who didnt pay my rent... All in all, the curb appeal is okay (cause tweekers maintain it) but inside the apt is a disgusting dark hole and mgt jeckle and hyde.

I used to live at Chatsworth...and I completely agree. Completely. Especially on the rudeness and laziness of the management. I got CUSSED OUT by the male manager. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!

I currently live there and TOTALLY agree to EVERYTHING said in this! They are LAZY DIRTY PIGS! They can take there sweet time to fix problems going on and hire a poor older war veteran to do all the work while there fat lazy behinds sit in the office all day but they sure are quick to cash your rent check the DAY you give it to them. I've pain my rent on time for the 2 horrible years I've lived here and yes your probably wondering why I've stayed for so long...I havent been able to find anything else or trust me I'd be long gone! I DO NOT advise anyone to move in there and I would LOVE nothing more than to write a letter to the owners of the place and tell them all about there lazy managers that are rude and nasty!!!

I agree also with everyone who has written on this site. It take maintnance a very I mean VERY long time to fix things around the apartment. I have only been staying at this apartment complex for some months and I dont like stay there. When my least is up I will not resign my least.I feel that we pay to much money ($525) a months for a two bedroom apartment. The second bedroom is for a new born baby not any older person. For the people who wrote on this site first they drive a Jeep Chrokee now and it is tan. What makes things so bad their daughter even live in the apartment complex. In the first building closes to the apartment office in the front. He window looks stright at the pool. I wounder if the owners know. The owners should be a shamed of there selves they dont no what is going on in there apartment complex that they own. There is always drunk college students around. Dont believe anyone if they say things are safe around the apartment because two people cars got broken into on the same night. Now what do that tell you? I feel if things dont get fixed in your apartment dont pay your rent I bet they come over and fix your apartment. It is funny how it says on the contract that you can have pets but they say it is no pets allowed. The managers who said this as we know is Michelle, and her husband. Most of the time they are not doing any work. They are always gone from the aparment complex and have the nerve to always have the sih=gn up saying that, "We are out for lunch and we will be back in a couple of hours". I advise no one to move in these apartments you will be mad at yourself for moving here because guess what I DO regreat moving in this hell hole!!!!
