Well the previous poster must work for Autumn Oaks or something or must just be delusional because this was close to being the worst place I have ever lived, and I've lived in some real crap places. It is also almost the loudest apartment I have ever lived in, and I lived in the quieter part near the tennis courts. And before you go agreeing with the previous poster, I've lived in some old apartments that were basically in party-central in a college town and honestly they held noise better than these pieces of crap.
Seriously, I think they went to the Home Depot reject store when they went to buy materials to build these apartments.
Ok, I will try to do pros and cons:
Pros:
-relatively new. Nice new appliances and all that good stuff.
-location. Even with tearing up Big Bend, there are plenty of things nearby that make this a nice location
-efficiency. All in all pretty efficient as far as heating and cooling go.
Really, that's about it. I don't have a lot of good things to say about this place and I have been renting for 7 years now.
Cons:
-yes new, but cheap. Very cheap. Walls, carpet, you name it.
-noisy. I think this goes along with cheap because all in all the neighbors seemed relatively quiet. (in fact, you could barely get a hello out of a lot of people)
-which brings me to, rudeness. Staff especially, maintenance guy was nice but scary.
-I agree with the others about the 60 day notice policy. Weak.
Overall I would say definitely DON'T move here whatever you can do. Much better places to live for the money IMO.
