I would not recommend this apartment to anyone moving to Saint Louis. I have lived in several cities and rented each time and this by far, has been my worst experience.
Positives: Management staff, actual apartment unit (clean, lots of windows and natural light, good appliances, spacious closets), attractive facade, nice work out facility that is rarely used
Negatives: Apartment advertised as 2 bedroom however it is really 1 bedroom and a study/office (too small for a full bed); bad water pressure and water pipes shake and make a loud noise when showering if water is too hot; fire alarm goes off ALL the time; old building so many maintenance issues (water pipes breaking, elevator issued etc.); parking gate was fixed for 3 days out of entire leasing period and is dificult to find covered spots during FOX shows which is frequent; the only perk to the location is close to SLU campus and Fox, nothing is in this area; very loud college student neighbors; high rent for small square footage; garbage room not maintained; lots of cold air seeps through floor boards and windows in winter; pool is only opened in the summer months after 2:00 in the afternoon.
