I lived at Knollwood Apartments for several years. When I first moved in, the apartments were not bad. I liked the neighborhood and the fact that it was really close to the highway. I just recently moved out and not too soon. My last year there was absolutely horrible. I began seeing roaches in my apartment and so did my neighbors. It took the complex months to get the problem under control. I also had problems with plumbing and mold. The complex had contractors to fix the major problems with the apartments and when they came to fix mine it took them 2 MONTHS to fix. I had holes in my ceiling and one of my bathrooms was completely unusable... It was embarrassing for me to have company and just to come home to that type of mess for 2 whole MONTHS. Now that I am no longer a resident there, I am having problems with getting my deposit back. When I moved out, one of the maintenance men came over to inspect and I got a great review. I called the complex and talked with the super, Karen, who tried to feed me some bogus story about my water, trash and service bill being behind. I asked her why no one let me know this before, she had no answer... We will just have to see what Elliot Davis and channel 2 news think.

Wow. Its funny because the complex sprays every Wednesday for pests and when you move out you a have a final water bill as when a resident moves in you do not pay water, sewer, and trash for 3months, therefore, when you move out, you receive a final water bill.
