I stayed in San Rafael and the apartment was a good set up but the maintence is horrible my refridgerator was leaking consantly and they claimed they fixed it and they never did. The water in the sinks bareley come out they supposedly fixed it and u have to run the water for 20 min to make dish water. The walls are paper thin you can hear everything that you don't want to hear from your neighbors. If your window is open you can hear someones whole conversation. The property manager Jeff is a complete butt hole and he is really rude and arrogant. The parking is horrible if someone is having company you may have to park arounf the corner you have to get home about 5 to get a good parking spot.I would not renew the lease as a matter of fact I broke my lease because of the crap that kept messing up in the apartment and they are WAY TOO HIGH for what they are worth. I DON"T RECOMMEND to move there.
