Smoker's Warning--

Maggie and Deanna were very nice and helpful when first moving in. There was a guy who also would be in the office, and he may be the one rebutting some of the negative remarks. The grounds, pool, laundry area were nicely kept. Was impressed with the complex parties and freebies offered, which I have not had at other apartments. The key IS to stay on the good side of the staff. I made a point to make a list of ALL things that were not perfect in the apt. when I first moved in. I cleaned everything before I left. (Lease states to clean your windows). I even cleaned the air conditioner & caulked the tub liner better than it was when I arrived. What happened' I am a heavy smoker, and only received part of my deposit back, because "apt smelled like smoke" and they had to prime and paint. Uhh...I thought that was par in preparing for newcomers, and if that's the case, should have no smoking apartments. Painting apartment is not allowed, so it's a catch 22 for those of you who smoke - or make sure you smoke outside.

Smoker, as I stated before, GET A LIFE! Move on! It's very obvious by reading some of the previous entries that you have multiple complaints regarding this property. You can tell that the entries are written by the same author and they date back to over a year ago. Yes, this is a forum to state your opinions but it seems that you have an absolute ax to grind. No, I am not management, I am a resident and a very happy resident. I guess whoever doesn't agree with you automatically has to be management. That's convenient for you. This is a forum for people to also state positive feedback and to also respond to the negative. I'm not saying you don't have the right to complain but when does it end?! I am a non-smoker but have lived with a smoker so I can attest to how difficult it is to get the smell out of the carpets, even after cleaning. I'm sure whatever deposit you put down didn't even begin to pay for the damages. And yes, when you have to replace carpet due to your smoking, if that is what happened, it is considered damages. If you are happy with your new apt community, let it go!

Blubityblahblah - GET A LIFE? Whining? This site is for tenants opinions. It's SO OBVIOUS BBBB is management that can't take constructive criticism! Most of what I wrote was positive, so look who's whining! You MUST have preferred a 'NO' over "YES' rating, so I am more than happy to oblige. Rent is paid to live there. Why penalize tenants who paid on time, didn't TRASH the apartment, and left everything very clean? Prudent managers should always shampoo carpets, and paint for the newcomers as part of running a complex. PS - you forgot to critique "I HATE IT!".

if you didn't smoke you would not be complaining and besides the fact get over it, you don't realize it but you really did STINK but you couldn't smell it.

Give this guy a break. I generally don't like smoke, but the guy is just giving his opinion.
