The worst bureaucracy I have ever experienced.

The Colony has very strict rules on assessing lates fess and turning accounts over to collections, which is ok. Unfortunately they are really bad at posting accounts with current payments and information. I have had been turned over to collections twice even though I had paid all fees billed in a timely manner. When trying to work with staff to correct this problem, it was made clear that their system and staff did not make mistakes and therefore in their opinion, I was obviously a deadbeat that could not pay my bills. I have never had a blemish on my credit report until dealing with The Colony and was forced to pay late fees and lawyer fees to clean it up after they made the mistakes. I moved as soon as my lease was up to avoid further headaches.
