I hated this place. I had to break my lease b/c I couldn't stand living there anymore. A neighbor complained that there was a foul odor coming from my apart. This was riduculus and the truth was I had a dog (which they allowed & I paid for) that she just didn't like. Before doing an investigation, the office staff sent me an eviction notice. I am an exceptionally clean person so I was in utter disbelief w/ the cause. I had them come investigate the apt. the instant I received the notice, in which they declared they made a mistake and I could stay. But through this process, I was talked down to by the staff and they continued to do check ups on my apart. I was then seen as the girl w/ the stinky apt.

On a side note, the setup of the corridors for the single apartments are unsafe (they might be the same for some of the multiple bedroom apts. too). I had to call the police several times b/c I'd find a homeless person sleeping outside my door in the hall when I would attempt to leave in the morning. The Colony did nothing to attempt to resolve the problem.
