I understand that people mostly write reviews, when they are not happy about something, but this review seams a little fabricated... the amenities is a word that only staff would use.... Every complex around here has built brand new buildings, with movie theaters, 3 pool tables, a pool 3 times the size of the colony's, work out room with twice the stations... plus you pay less for stone counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and storage, this is just what the pavilion offers in amenities. Westpoint has tanning beds, cleaners, and other stuff. The colony has free bagels! Plus, I got an upgraded apartment... with out knowing it. I had picked out my unit before the tenant had moved out... when they left... the colony found that the floor and the cabinets had rotted out. So they replaced the 70's cabinets in the kitchen and the bathroom. After 2 years of paying rent... they jacked up my rent an additional $50 on top of the rate increase... I am talking $615 to $690 in one freakin year... After several debates with our favorite leasing agent... the one that can tell you that a jump from $615 to $690 is comparable to all of the other places in the area, with a smile on her face. It took several phone calls with Draper & Kramers Regional Director to give me $600 in rent coupons! Like buying a pair of tennis shoes at the shoe carnival! get Coupons for rent! The place isn't bad... the last summer was the first out of three, that my car stereo wasn't stolen! If you are looking for a place for a year, this will be great... but if you are looking for a place for more than a year... look else where.
