We lived in the Colony for 1 horrible year. During the Spring, Summer, and Fall our apartment was flooded with millipedes (little creepy worms). The manager told us they couldn't help it, that it was just a moist area. I am not talking about 1 or 2 of these creepy things we are talking like 20 to 30 a day. Plus they are poisonous so I worried to death about my animals daily. Our apartment flooded 3 times because of the people above us and the bad plumbing throughout the whole complex. The whole ceiling in the bathroom collapsed and it took 2 months to fix. The maintenance man however is incredible friendly and on several occasions came in the middle of the night to fix floods, or falling ceilings. He is awesome and supper sweet, the only good person there. We paid way too much for a horribly run down apartment. The kitchen cabinets are crumbling away, and the whole place was just nasty. The apartment smelled absolutely dreadful, in fact we had to replace all of our furniture when we moved we tried getting it cleaned and everything but nothing help make it not stink. In the end I would urge you to stay away from this place. Between high rent rates, no washer and dryer hookups, horrible bug problems, and rude management you'd be better off on the streets!
