Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006
Pros:
-attractive renovations
-timely maintenance
-workout classes and decent gym
-scheduled movies in theater
-the Bark Park
-good tennis courts
-my apartment has been very heating and cooling efficient
Cons:
-renovation a little shoddy in some spots
-maintenace does nothing about fallen trees, overflowing trash, and burned out lightposts until you tell them, whereas you'd think they'd be on the ball about big stuff like that
-many tenants have total lack of respect for community items (ie, computers, pool tables, gym equipment, flat screen TV in lobby, etc). They ruin and break them and management is slow to fix the items, if they do so at all.
-Dishwasher is kinda cheap and doesn't work that well
-pools are kinda gross
Overall, I'd say the Pavilion is ok for a year or two, but expect to be a little disapointed. If you can afford to go to a little nicer apartment, spend the money and do so. Also, pay the extra $50 to have the small washer and dryer in your unit, it may make the apt seem less spacious but the folks who use the clubhouse laundry don't exactly make you feel that comfortable. Plus it's $1.25/load.
