Bad Experience

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
Everythang was OK untill 15 days before my one year lease was up. Management said I had to give 30 days notice to leave at the end of my one year. I showed them a consumer guide writen by attorney general Jay Nixon that had ben revised in sept. 2004 that said the 30 day notice clause in our contract was void and illegal. Westpoint has spent the last year ignoring missiouri law and harrasing me with collection agencies in the atempt to get a half months rent from me. I thought a one year lease, is a one year lease, and the law was the law. Sometimes people are given a chance to do the right thing; Westpoint did not take advantage of this opertunity.
