I read all of these reviews before moving into this section-8 -------- and I should've listened. I also was shown the beautiful show apartment and they said our unit would be "just like this one" but more UPDATED. NO. The walls don't even touch the carpet, the bathtub has been PAINTED WHITE, the carpet is fraying at the ends, my closets are INFESTED with spiders, and they won't do anything about anything. Anytime I try to call and ask for something, I end up getting in a verbal dispute with one of the leasing agents. The unit has been painted so many times, the walls look like paper mache. Best thing is, I just got bitten by a BROWN RECLUSE lastnight after telling them I have a spider problem and I need them to spray my apartment. They try to get you to move in with all these "move-in specials" that only last "for that day" and then they slap you with a huge deposit and all of these other hidden fees. I've lived here for 3 months, my refridgerator is broken and they will not fix it, I've asked them to spray my apartment for spiders, and they never show up to the "appointments." This place is a freaking joke. The pool is full of druggies, hoogiers, and just all around scary people. I tried to take my aunt swimming here, she asked me to take her home. It's that bad. People are pretty much having sex in the water. This is not somewhere I could ever take a child. Before moving in, I asked them why they had SO MANY bad reviews and they didn't have any kind of answer. I am so stupid for living here, I was obviously really desperate.

Can you please tell me where these "taxpayers" are that are paying my rent? I work two full time jobs, no one is paying my rent. I said that this facility resembles section-8 because it's a total dump. I am 20 years old and I get grossed out when I goto the pool because of the way some people act. Just because YOU haven't seen people sucking face and grinding in the pool, doesn't mean that it doesn't happen. There are 3 pools on the property, trust me, bad things happen when you're not around. There are SOME nice days at the pool, though. It's pointless to argue with a review. Just because you have had good luck with this company, doesn't mean that everyone else does. People should be deterred by this place. I read the reviews before I moved here and thought these reviews were ridiculous assertions also, but I wish I would have listened. Was my spelling up to par this time or are you going to pick out another petty error because you're so intelligent. You get what you put out and you were just plain rude. These are concerns I have with the company, if you think it's ridiculous, mind your own business.

It really is a great country we live in, where the government (taxpayers) can pay your rent, and you can still whine about dinky "problems". You want to spray for bugs, go to the store and buy a can of Raid for $5. Your review of the pool area baffles me.. I've been there several times this summer. It gets pretty crowded, but everyone is pretty cool there, its a laid back atmosphere. I guess me and my girlfriend are some of the "hoogiers" (I'm assuming you meant to say hoosiers) that go there, but unfortunately I have not seen anyone "pretty much having sex" yet. And there's usually a lot of kids there too... I'm sorry to argue with your review, but I don't want people reading it and being deterred by what seems like ridiculous assertion to me.

I agree with annonymous. My dad sprayed my place for bugs. And everytime I go to the pool its packed with kids. At night it gets a little rowdy, but its night.

I agree with the original reviewer. I lived there for 2 years and it is the worst apartment I ever had. Maintenance is a joke and the pool is full of underage drinkers and people all but having sex there. The staff that attends the parties at the pool act like drunken idiots as well. Great representation for the community?? I don??t think so! I am happy to say that I have found a great place to live, the floors are not rotting, the dishwasher cleans, the refrigerator is not so loud that I have to turn up the TV and best of all no bugs!!! There are good apartments out there, beware of West Point it is not worth the cheap rent.

Im acutally moving out b/c my aparment has a leaking ceiling. i have two wholes thats been there since june 24, 2005. they are acutally trying to offer me another apartment for 500 but after reading all of these complaints i feel like i am not a lone....but my huge problem is that have rats/mice or some type of roddents in my home and i actually had to have a pest control company to remove them. There are too many strange men lurking around the pool and i dont feel staff going swiming there. i got a pool pass a maryland park, water park....
