Worst Experience Ever

I am so glad my lease finally ended and I moved to a better apartment complex just a few miles away. Sure, the rent at West Pointe is the cheapest in the area, but there is good reason for that. I would never, ever rent from this complex again, even if it meant going home to live with my parents. Heck, being homeless would be preferable. It s not worth the money you save, even if you are desperate. I m sure there are happier residents at homeless shelters.

They cut corners in every way they can; Our ceilings were hanging down because of old water damage that was "repaired" with wall putty. Our bath tub had a bath mat painted onto the bottom of it when we moved in... literally some old ragged bath mat was painted right over. There are holes to the outside; no matter how many times you have them spray for bugs and spiders, it doesn't help.

Maintenance was kind and helpful 90% of the time, if they ever got the message from the office; they were great, but someone on their team steals. I don t know if they run checks of their employees, but they are missing something here. Don t leave medications or anything valuable laying around at all. They don t listen when you tell them you need to be there for maintenance to come in either.

One of our neighbors smoked so much pot, that walking through the hallway you'd get a contact high... We could smell it all the way in our back room. Our other neighbor was a prostitute; she literally came to our door and offered her services to my husband, for $20

When you walk outside, the landscaping is so overgrown, no matter how close to the middle of the walkway you are bushes and weeds rub against you legs. You can t miss the bugs, the will hop right on you. The watering system runs sometime right after midnight, and it hits the walkway; so if you are coming home late, you will get soaked. It also smells strongly of sulfur everywhere outdoors.

They let people smoke their cigarettes and drink their beers in the pool, while swimming. It s disgusting, they just flick their ashes right in the water. Equipment in the gym stays broken for months at a time. The washers and dryers at the club house are outdated, and it ll cost you a small fortune to do your laundry. Please, just go anywhere else you can; this was the most horrible place I have ever lived.
