Wouldn't do it again

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008
Pros: Very spacious, open areas for kids to play, very dog friendly, and their maintenance guys are very attentive (when Mgt gives them the "green light" that is).
Cons:
1. You'll pay dearly for electric (in summer) and gas (in winter.) These places still have circa 1964 windows installed and you can feel the breeze coming through. You will have a pretty warm apartment (our apartment stayed about 88 degress up until midnight during the hot summer months last year because we obviously weren't smart enough to know that our air conditioner wasn't broken, we just weren't closing the blinds and cooking too much with our oven. NO joke...) during the summer and a cold place to reside in the winter and if you call Mgt about it, they basically tell you that's status quo because of their age.
2. Don't be fooled by the term "luxury." There is nothing luxurious about 10-15 year old appliances, microwaves that barely fit a single plate, spiders/ants, rotting decks, flooded entryways, and the aforementioned problem with insulation.
3. $$$. Want updated appliances...sure, they can do that but you'll pay extra every month on top of the inflated rent. The indoor pool is very nice, but the outdoor pool has a lot to be desired and the lifeguard is not the nicest guy. Kids think he's creepy.
4. NOISEY. You WILL hear your neighbors...every word (and other times when you really don't want to hear them.)
