I can hear the person above me.. playing music, talking on the phone, arguing with friends. It was fine when I moved in, I guess because it was winter, but now I am afraid to come home after dark because I might get mugged. I am also afraid to be out after dark because thats when the roaches and waterbugs come out.. all over the walkways. In the mornings there are smushed bugs everwhere! Maintenance takes their time if its not life or death, Ive been waiting over a month for a leak to be fixed, and then when they come, the dont tell you that they came, or that they are finished, or that they will be coming back. I had a whole in the bathroom celing and it was left for weeks before someone came to patch it up, then they did not clean up after themselves. If you want to live here, get an apt on the very top, then you wont have problems.. they will all run down to the ppl below you.

Living here at the Woodlands has been the worst part of my life. The apartments are paper-thin, I can hear every step my neighbor upstairs takes, and I hear him and the person on the other end talk on the phone! The noise is worse when he turns on his TV, music and entertains his army of kids from his baby-mama who are always running, jumping and stomping on the floor, waking me up in the middle of my hard-earned sleep or interrupting my home study time. When I reported this to the management, they had the cheek to ask me that was this noise the kind you can hear in any other apartment, this despite me detailing my complaint in a letter, if it was normal, why would I even bother complain? They never took any action. I have a leak from upstairs that has never been fixed for close to a year now despite numerous attempts by the maintenance crew, who never leave a note that they were in your apartment, never clean the mess they create. This leak has been causing moulds to grow all over the apartment and my clothes which I end up throwing away. My car got broken into a couple of times, one of my neighbors got mugged, I hear a couple other ladies too and a number of carjacking episodes in the parking lot. A shot person???s body was found in the parking lot late last year. My lease is up and I am out of this hell of a life.

I have lived here going on 4yrs now, and at first it was fine, Until these young ass grl moved in above me with her "baby's daddy" and its been dwn hill from there. A lot of stomping around and running, and the walls and ceilings are sooooo thin it doesnt make any sense. I like the setup the the apt and the big bathroom and bedroom, the mistake was moving on the first floor!!!!!!!!
