After visiting what seems like every apartment complex in the St. Charles area, my husband and I cannot get over how nice the apartments appear. We are selling our house and moving the family into an apartment so we can save up money to build in a few years. After reading these posts, I get very scared about ever signing a lease again. I am torn. I don't want to be under the thumb of bad management and I cannot even imagine having to walk a country mile to get to my home because of the parking issue. We are also trying to decide what floor we would want to live on since noise is such an issue, which I think would be the case with any apartment. Please help, I am up for suggestions, opinions, anything!

MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN LIVING THERE FOR THREE YEARS. WERE MOVING INTO A HOUSE IN MARCH. WE HATE THIS PLACE SO MUCH. THE WINDOWS LEAK SO BAD THAT YOU GET MOLD AROUND THE WINDOWS. WHICH IS BAD FOR ALLERGIES. THE MAINTANCE IS HORRIBLE. I HAPPEN TO BE WALKING OUT TO MY CAR AND SLIPPED AND FELL ON A HUGE SHEET OF ICE. WHICH THEY REALLY NEED TO KEEP SALT ON THE STREETS AND SIDEWALKS. THEIRS WAY TO MANY YOUNG COLLEGE KIDS THAT LIVE THERE. THEIRS TO MANY PARTIES GOING ON. oN THE WEEKEND WHERE YOU HAVE A PROBLEM PARKING EVEN THOUGH THE PARKING SUCKS ANYWAY. WHEN YOU HAVE THREE PEOPLE LIVING IN A APT. THAT TAKES UP THREE PARKING SPOTS. I GET REALLY MAD ABOUT IT. SPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE TO WALK, A BUILDING OR TWO DOWN FRON WHERE YOU LIVE. IT'S STUPID. I DIDN'T LIKE TAKING MY KIDS TO THE POOL. THE COLLEGE KIDS WOULD BE CUSSING INFRONT OF MY EIGHT YEAR OLD. THAT IS NOT RIGHT AT ALL. THE OFFICE IS VERY SNOBBY ALSO. THEY ACTED ALL FRIENDLY. THERE NOT, THEY DON'T CARE ONCE YOU SIGN THE LEASE. I WOULD NEVER LIVE HERE OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE THAT I KNOW!!!!!!!!
