I have lived here at Turnberry now for 4 years. The first thing I would like to say is please remember this is an apartment complex, so stop expecting the quality of a private residence here, expecting sound proof walls & top of the line appliances is ridiculous! Please note no developer will build a community with top of the line anything unless they plan on selling the units, and even then it's unlikely. If you have to rent, I have a few tips for new renters: if you're worried about noise choose to live on the 3rd floor you will minimize neighbor noise-please don't stomp though it's really annoying, or if you are worried about utility cost, live on the 2nd level to cut back on this.... Have your filters changed regularly & Investing on drapes would be smart as well. If you are worried about dog poop, just use the sidewalks-like normal people do. If management doesn't enforce the rules, what makes you think you can'
If you are worried about parking, just get a garage, it's soooo worth it! No door dings, no ice, no parking a mile away.
Which brings me to my last item... The only real problem with our community is completley out of the managements hands, and that is the drivers. I have almost had 3 head-on collisions right at the entrance in the last 12 months. All I want to say to those of you who want to cut accross instead of going around the circle is this is very dangerous, and you are the laziest people ever. Not only is this the location of the bus stop for our kids, but also the main entrance for all and it is very scary coming in and out because people are in such a rush. Oh and it is really obnoxious how some of you almost plow into those of us who have a garage when we are trying to pull in and out of it. So, to recap- it's what you make of it here. I personally think for an apartment it's fine.

The apartment is NOT fine! Yes, the walls and floors are paper thin but you can not dictate to your neighbors about how they should live. Therefore, they will stomp on your ceilings, run up and down the steps, yell in the breeze-ways, and slam the cabinet doors. Yes, this is an apartment but this is the worst apartment compared to my other friends and coworkers. It was poorly constructed which causes numerous problems between neighbors. The leasing office is too scared to handle issues when it comes to noises. They simply put it back on you and tell you that "you're going to hear loud noises". This apartment complex only looks luxurious - it's NOT! A former tenent told me that he classified it as "AN UPSCALE VERSION OF THE PROJECTS"!
