Not so great for kids, families, or anyone looking for a nice quite environment.

This place was actually pretty nice about 13-14 months ago, however after their sixth set of managers, previous management stealing money orders of tenents, the fact that if you want maintenance done you have to do it yourself (saw one guy actually stealing parts from condensor unit for vacant apartment so that he could fix his because management would now do it) I personally had a massive leak in my apartment that went on for days, still have holes in drywall where maintenance cut out to see where it was coming from. That was months ago, now black mold is all over the laundry room. Lease is up in January but will not make it that long. They stopped paying gas bill so laundry no longer worked, they stopped paying electric bill so house lighting did not work. Pools a mess. Gated community my butt, it worked until the original managers left and has not since.

Apartments are broken into regularly, thugs run around with their pit bulls scaring the neighbors especially the kids and the older folks. Ghetto music blasts constantly and the sound of the train is a welcome respite over the music.

If you are section 8, white trash, basically what no one wants living near them you will feel right at home here. For me good riddance.

Here's a suggestion...form a letter to the current tenants(or not) and put one on each tenant's door highlighting the clause in the lease contract that stipulates....If reasonable repairs are requested in writing(be it inside the apartment or on the grounds)and submitted to the staff, they have 30 days to correct the issue OR the lease contract becomes void and null and you (the lessee) are entitled to vacate the premises...You MUST, however, stipulate also that a 30 day written notice must be submitted BEFORE vacating the premises in order to keep in compliance of the contract. I did this and got my deposit back....it took 90 days for me to get the check...but I got it back, none the less. I even contacted WLOX but my concerns fell on deaf ears. I SO hope this terrible injustice gets corrected soon!! I would make and distribute the flyers myself, but I an now living in San Antonio, TX. My time there was a nightmare to say the least! I suffered severe depression form living in that complex...roaches, high electric bill from the ac having to run constantly and it was still miserably hot, stairways falling apart, junk vehicles in the parking lot, rebarb sticking out in the parking lot.....Best of luck to you and ALL the tennants who are currently living there. If you put everything in writing and force the management staff to sign receipt and acknowledgement of your maintenance requests, they will have no choice but to void your lease and we both know they will not address the issues you request be corrected within 30 days. Best of luck to ya!
