I lived here for 2 and a half years and really enjoyed it. The apartments are very conveniently located and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Any issue I had was fixed promptly. It's also a very quiet complex. I really enjoyed living here and only left because I accepted a job out of state. I had a one bedroom apartment and it was so spacious. I can't get anything comparable where I live now. Lots of storage area.

The negatives...apartments do show their age a little bit. They are clean and well-maintained but cabinets, etc. look dated. I also did occasionaly have palmetto bugs get in the apartment. I think this pretty much happens everywhere in the South, though. Management was also responsive and sent an exterminator. Also, the one bedrooms have no washer/dryer or hook up. There is a laundry room but it gets VERY busy on the weekends. This was my biggest problem with Pines on the Bay. It was hard and expensive ($1.25 a load) to do laundry.


Despite the few negatives, I would live there again if I ever moved back to the area. The location is great, the apartments are very affordable and the staff is friendly and helpful, which outweighs the few downsides.
