Do not live here!! I am in college and wanted to get out of the dorm so I moved in with a girl who already lived there when her roommate moved out. The place is nice but not worth it AT ALL. $879 dollars somewhere else in this area would be like living in the Taj Mahal. The building construction is cheap and not done properly. Bugs get in our apartment because the doors were not installed correctly. Drawers and cabinets are installed poorly. The only thing the people at this apartment care about is MONEY. They don't care about what you have to say or any problems you may have. We resigned the lease when I moved in and they did not go over any thing with us. My roommate lived there a whole year and that meant our rent could only go up by 20$. When we resigned the lease they kept forgetting for 3 months that she lived there before and left note on our door that we owed money. We called so many times and finally had to call Heritage properties to make the ladies in the office stop harassing us. they made us pay the deposit, redecoration fee and everything and they would not even come in an clean the carpet, etc when the roommate moved out. Which they were SUPPOSED to do b/c we payed the fee. It took 2 months to finally get them to clean the carpet after I called about 5 times in one day. You have to practically harass them to get them to do anything. They have NO COMMUNICATION SKILLS whatsoever. It is like they are living in LALA land. My friend lives across the complex and over Christmas break she went home for 2 weeks. The night before Christmas something happened to the sewage system and it backed up in all the apartments in her building. She did not find out about it until she got home 2 weeks later. Maintenance had cleaned the floors but nothing else. They dumped ruined stuff in the bathtub. Her roommate lost 6 trash bags full of stuff that could have been saved if they had simply picked up the phone and notified them. HOW RUDE!!!!! The roommate went to the office to ask them why they didn't receive a phone call and the lady just stared at her and said sorry, sorry, sorry. A new building is being built and they busted a water pipe last week. They kept turning the water off for about 5 hours each time and did not notify anyone. They can trash our doors with fliers about pop sickles in the office but they cant notify anyone about something important. INCOMPETENT!!

I would have to agree with much of what was said in this review. I lived in at The Reserve at Woodchase when it first opened and was very satisfied. After living away for two years I wanted to come back. The price is exhorbitant, but I was told that is because of all the "amenities." About those amenities: The pool is much too small for this many people and stays FILTHY all summer. The "hot" tub is usually cold. The washer/dryers in the laundry room doen't work well-costs $4 to run a load through 3 dryer cycles until they finally get dry. Bug spraying is not done consistently. The buildings are cheaply built--look pretty good but no substance. I got further evidence of this when my apartment building burned completely to the ground in September--no fire walls at all. Heritage Properties was COLD about the fire--first insisted that there were no apartments available and we were going to have to move to the Byram property. Somehow they found us an apartment at the CLinton location, but it was even worse than the one that burned--hairs in the paint in the bathroom, the carpet a mess. The electricity in this building "browns out" almost constantly, leaving me in constant fear of another fire. No compensation was offered for what we lost in the fire, and I am certain that there was a coverup regarding the cause of the fire in Building 13--still can't get an answer on that. I have to disagree about management. One of the ladies is really nice and the other, while impatient, does what I believe is her best given the horrid circumstances Heritage makes her work under--unresponsive to her requestst to help her residents. Needless to say, when my lease is up the end of this month, I am moving!!!!!
