We lived there before and after the storm and had two entirely different experiences during that time. When we first moved in, the management was older and extremely personable. They seemed to really care about the residents. Before the storm, management changed and tennants no longer mattered. We were lucky enough to not have any damage from Katrina but most of the complex was uninhabitable. We stayed a year after the storm and never saw things improve. Rent went up while living conditions continued to decline. It was absolutely horrible to live there. I felt really sorry for those who had flooded out apts and couldn't even get new flooring put in (they were living with concrete slabs!) We had a 1 BR and the floorplan was amazing with nice vaulted ceilings but it wasn't enough to keep us happy. The staff never tried to accommodate any questions or concerns we had. We've since left the complex and the state!
