The place was nice when we first moved in, but it then changed management companies and went down from there.
When we moved out the "damages" just so happened to equal the "overpayment" on our account.
Very shady and did not even want a forwarding address or phone number.
We move a lot being military and we have never been to a place with office staff this lazy.
We have called many times for the last year to get everything taken care of and our calls are never returned.
Stay away if at all possible!

I cannot concur with this. (I wrote a review several months ago.) I also am military, lived in Plantation from Sep '04 until Sep '07. Management is nice, friendly, and accommodating (but might need some persistence to get things followed through). I paid no damage deposit--ever. I was never charged for any damages or needed repairs. They prorated my rent to the day, waiving the balance of my lease and notification requirements since I was moving on orders. I was proactive in ensuring that they had forwarding addresses and emergency contact information during my recent deployment overseas and when I moved out. It is a pleasant, convenient place to live with reasonable rents, good maintenance, and fine responsivelness to the needs of military renters.
Don't put much stock in this guy's ranting.
