I was very excited to move into these apartments with my husband in 2006.

NOt but about a month after he deployed they got new staff in the offices and nothing was ever the same again...

They were VERY rude to me when I was trying to get things settled for us to move out (when we got base housing).

They told us they were not going to charge us the break lease fee because my husband had lived there so long.

Well 2 months later I get a collections notice in the mail, without anyone in the office calling or writing, this came straight from an agency.

I tried contacting htem and no one in the office would answer my questions about it.

When my husband got back he called the office and they immeadiately dropped it saying they were waiting to talk specifically to him (even though I had a power of attourney and he was in Iraq).

Also, the parking was awful!! We paid the extra $30 a month for 2 covered parking spaces and my husband got a nail in his tire parking there...

They are gated, but when I lived there the staff would always forget to shut the gate after they left the office (it was open during buisness hours) therefore it would remain open all night or all weekend sometimes. Also, don't bring your own washer and dryer if they are standard size.

I brought mine with me and the hookups are in the bathroom, where the doorway is 6" smaller than the rest of the doorways...

They told me to return them to the store and get new ones that fit even though I had owned them for a year already.

Sorry to hear about your experience. It definitely was not the same as mine (Sep 2004 - Sep 2007). I had a separate laundry room off the kitchen that worked just fine. The entire Gulf Coast has been a demolition/construction zone for nearlt three years. How anyone can complain about picking up a nail anywhere is beyond me. I also paid $15 for a covered space right outside my building (I'm very fussy about my wheels) with no problems, even with my car stored there during a four-month deployment. The staff was always courteous and friendly. All-in-all, a fine experience.

Well I can complain about a nail in the tire. We lived there through Katrina and were being charged for covered parking under a cover that was non exitant anymore. They didn't put up a new one, or tear down the old one for that matter so even though we were paying extra to park we still had to fight for the too few spaces by our bldg. The newer lady incharge of the office was a complete witch anytime i went in there and the assisant woman was an idiot. She used to just give me a blank stare when I asked her anything. I'm glad you had a good experience, but mine sucked...

be happy you moved...I am going to celebrate when I moved out. The young lady is the office who is the assistant is rude. No wonder they have such low rates. I pay $120 more than what they are offering. When I asked the assistant why that was she "rolled her eyes at me"
