I lived in Parkwest for almost 2 years, and never had any problems. The staff members were extremely freindly and helpful. All our maintenance requests were handled quickly, and the maintenance guys were always friendly and respectful.

The location is great, and the on-site car wash was extremely convenient. I also felt safe jogging around the complex late at night--I never ran into strange people or felt threatened by the neighbors. I don't know of one single break-in that occured while I lived there. Several police officers also live in this complex. That gave me an extra feeling of safety.

Every now and then someone would turn up his radio a little too loud while at the car wash, but that was very seldom (maybe once a month), and never late at night. It wasn't a problem for me. All in all, it's a very quiet place. I also loved that there weren't many children there. The majority of residents were either students or young couples.

My biggest complaint is that sometimes the access gate would stick, and I would have to wait about a minute for the system to reset...a little annoying, but nothing major.

The apartments are big and nicely priced. I'm paying the same rent for a 1 bedroom apartment in Houston, Tx that I was paying for my 3 bedroom at Parkwest.

I absolutely recommend Parkwest.
