I lived here for two years. Without fail, every time renewal time came there was always an increase! If we were a couple days late on rent, even if we called and let them know, a note was on the door threatening to kick us out. I had three different downstairs neighbors over the two years(I have children). We were always very cordial with our neighbors below and I constantly stayed on my children to not run, etc. We never had a complaint until one month before we moved out. I guess the new neighbors didn't like having us upstairs, so from day one they were banging on my door. I at first kindly explained that I was doing my best to keep them from moving around too much. The harassment by these neighbors became unbareable. I started getting notes on my door from management threatening to kick us out for noise (never had a problem before). Then they actually sent the police over. Can you imagine''' We left right away. It was aweful! Then they try to stick us with a $2000 bill for cleaning and replacement of just about everything in the apartment. If you have a family DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!

the reason why they had to put those letters on your doors for late rent was because incase you actually didn't pay your rent (which people will call, tell a date, and not show up even loyal residents that have been there several years!) then they had to have those letters to be able to file court. so don't criticize them for something like that! plus....your the one that was late! I don't work at this complex but I do work at one in town. What people need to understand is that these managers are doing their job! Just like EVERYONE ELSE! so if they are told that they have to put letters on the door then that is what they have to do! Now...the noise complaints i don't blame you for. If the downstairs neighbor can't handle noise from people just walking upstairs, then they don't need to be in an apartment! that is ALL apartment living unless your in a duplex! I NEVER put a noise complaint letter on a residents door just for walking or even running in their apartment....thats crazy!
