I live at Westwind, and have been here for 10 months, and I read all of these other negative posts, and I can't get over your ignorance.
When you movein, you sign a lease and a slew of other documents, which I'm sure you were given a copy, I was. If you look over it, or pay attention when you go over all of this with Glenda, Michelle, or Holly, it is very self explanatory. It is not impossible to transfer on your job, the lease form on termination is just one of the forms you signed. As far as the other issues, the area looks residential, and not like a rental, it is private, most of my company can't believe it is a "apt complex". No matter where you are even in the high rent district, you have one or two bad apples out of the bunch, but get over it already. They have about 100 older apartments, and 200 homes that are newer, and it is how many people in the office' Just 2 (two), and I guess you think you are the only person with a maintance issue, I don't know about you, but I have heard of people either too lazy or cheap to buy a plunger, for God's sake, go buy a plunger, it is nasty of you to let it sit, and change your own light bulbs, I have seen Vince and Nathan both carry in the long tube light to change, petty issues like this are what backs up your maintance. I have seen lazy people throw their garbage on the ground instead of putting it in the dumpster, my God, you walked over to it, use it, you pay for it, I have seen Michelle out digging through what is on the ground, and asked her what in the world she was doing, she said she goes through it and if she sees your mail, pizza box, etc...with your name or address, she has it cleaned up, and bills you for it. So again, this takes time from other more important issues.
How many of you just drop your rent in the box every month' Do you ever go into the office, do you even know what all they have to do, I sat up there one day waiting on a fax to be sent to me, and they are busy, I guess if people wouldn't be so picky, your apartment is not new, and you are not buying it, and stop being so petty, I love my duplex home, I don't have people walking over me when I try to sleep, or people complaining on me above them, have some of you complainers actually lived in a real apartment' If you have you will feel so truely blessed when you come to Westwind, it is not cracker box living, I have 1300 square feet, 3 bedroom 2 bath, with a patio off my kitchen door. Those of you being so petty and picky need to wake up and realize you are not the only ones who have an issue, and then realize that your issue might not be the most important, and if you have a old maintance complaint, and NO contact has been made, 1st I find it hard to believe, but 2nd, have you not ever accidentally lost a piece of paper, or forot something. There have been a lot of changes here, all for the good, Glenda and Karen moved me in, but Holly and Michelle are wonderful. If you feel you have been ignored or forgotten, overlooked, neglected, whatever it is, go to them and say I really need this, did you forget, I am sure it will be handled, or are you asking for stuff to be fixed or replaced because it has a few scratches or isn't perfect, remember it is rented not owned by you, and it is not new.
I guess I have just always had good luck, I love living here at Westwind, if you look real hard at apartment living, you will prefer Westwind too.
Give the new crew a chance, call Michelle or Holly @ 662-342-5070. I will be renewing my lease next month, and they have offered to clean my carpet, replace my burner pans on the stove, ( I guess they know I boil over tea every time), and replace any broke or faded or torn blinds to "spruce up" the place is what they said, I really feel they care, and I love it here and plan to stay! 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
