The first idea of upkeep should be when you walk in the foyers of the building and see they aren't swept, the walls haven't been painted in years, and the light fixtures are full of bugs. The "24 hour emergency maintenance" doesn't exist, we know because we had a bad water leak and called several times. They tell you there are policemen living on the property, may be, but it doesn't stop the fights, loud music, etc. The dogs tied outside bark non stop. Our bathroom floor is so rotten the toilet literally leans to the right and the floor smells horrible from a long time leak. The carpets were stained, the dining vinyl has a huge slash in it. Maintenance' Forget it! We are still waiting for the items on the move-in checklist!!! We went the entire summer without air and now that it's colder we decided to try the heat and big suprise, it doesn't work. Manager told us to "pick one." I guess that means either heat or air. The price may be a tad lower than other places, but it's worse than public housing. RUN!!
