The Woodlands Apartments seem like a great place to live, face-value. But, it isn't. The management here is awful to deal with and for what we are paying, we have an awful mess of an apartment. Our carpet was dirty when we moved in, the walls were in need of repainting and re-papering, some areas of the molding are coming apart, the bathtubs are horribly stained and the toilet seats are broken.
And that is just the start of things. Our manager, Beverly, does not give a rat's ass about her tenants. We are in the process of reporting her to Heritage Properties. If you file a complaint, SHE will retaliate against you in some form or fashion. She is an awful manager. We have complained numerous times about our downstairs neighbor attempting to burn down the complex, but nothing has happened. And seeing as how there is an ordinance against having burning grills on your porch or balcony, she should do something. Overall, I wouldn't recommend anyone renting from this overrated, overpriced --------.
