My husband and I put a deposit down at the beginning of April for a 1 bedroom. In mid-July, I needed to know which unit we'd have so I could fill out some paperwork for a new job. They gave me the run-around for two weeks. Finally, they said that they had run out of 1 bedrooms, but would let us have a 2 bedroom for a discounted price. Since the price was still more than the 1 bedroom, and they wouldn't be able to fulfill the original terms of the lease, I told them to cancel it. I had to leave this in a message on the machine because no one would answer the phone. When I called the next morning to confirm that they had gotten the message, a 1 bedroom had magically become available overnight. Sound like a scam' We'll be staying at our current residence, thank you.
